I am not looking for a short-term investment and I intend to lead and run the business I acquire long-term and build on the legacy of the previous owners of the company. Investment criteria

  • First priority on Salt Lake City metro area & western U.S. (Wasatch Front corridor, California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming). Open to other geos or remote businesses as well, for the right opportunity.

  • Essential services and products targeting business and public entity customers. Examples include: utilities infrastructure and maintenance, equipment maintenance & repair, professional education & training, HR services, B2B equipment rental, professional services and consulting, systems integration, document & data management, IT services.

  • Manufacturing: Niche products that serve B2B or B2G customers

  • Niche SaaS or eCommerce: Tech-powered businesses that have a solid and reliable sales track record and are not in need of major software development investment beyond maintenance and incremental improvements.

  • Mature Business: 10+ years in operation

  • Low client/customer concentration

  • Consistent Profitability

  • Annual Revenue: $1 million - $7.5 million

  • Annual Pre-Tax Profit: $700k - $1.5 million

My experience and background

I have over 15 years of experience as a founder, executive and individual contributor at companies ranging from venture-backed startups to large enterprises. Industries I’ve worked in include: technology, manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, media, agriculture, and public utilities.I know firsthand what it takes to build and lead teams and launch products and services that have served millions of people and scores of businesses around the world. Having owned, operated and managed my own companies I know the hard work and sacrifice that goes into making a business a success and building a lasting legacy.
I live in Salt Lake City, Utah and received my Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and a Master’s degree from the University of Birmingham in the UK.
